Please. I don’t. Want to talk. About the Raiders. Anymore. Did you read that like an extremely out of shape person gasping for air after running up 27 flights of stairs, because that’s how I feel right now. The Raiders received this pick as part of the Amari Cooper trade with Dallas. I wouldn’t be able to sleep after doing this entire mock draft if I don’t give an edge rusher to the Raiders with one of their three first round picks. While I would hope they end up with a higher graded prospect than this, don’t sleep on Florida State’s Brian Burns. Burns is in the mold of a Von Miller/Khalil Mack, both of whom happen to also play in the AFC West. The Raiders had only 13 sacks as a team last season. There were literally 11 players in the league who had that many sacks or more BY THEMSELVES in 2018. The other option here is cornerback. Georgia’s Deandre Baker is still on the board and now at this point late in the first round you might even start looking at guys like Temple’s Rock Ya-Sin or Kentucky’s Lonnie Johnson. The Raiders have a high pick in Round 2 though so they should be able to grab a corner or maybe even a tight end at that point depending on how they feel. I feel like moving on to the next team though, so how about we do that.
